Mit diesem Bausatz können ältere Drechselbänke auf stufenlosen Spindelantrieb umgerüstet werden. Voraussetzung ist ein Drehstrommotor. Die Leistung des Umrichters muss an die Motorleistung angepasst sein. Die Kabellänge des beweglichen Bedienteils richtet sich nach der Spitzenweite der Drechselbank.
Das Bedienteil beinhaltet: Ein-/Ausschalter, Notaustaster, Links-/Rechtslauf, Potentiometer.
Beispiel: Sie haben eine Maschine mit 3 Drehzahlstufen: 500, 1500, 2500 U/min. Diese Stufen bleiben, aber die Drehzahl ist bei:
- Riemenstufe 500: jetzt ca. 160–500 U/min
- Riemenstufe 1500: jetzt ca. 500–1500 U/min
- Riemenstufe 2500: jetzt ca. 850–2500 U/min
